Clint Fast, 29, of West Orange, NJ, died Aug 14, 2003 in Rochester, MN, after a 19-month battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Eyota, MN, on Monday, Aug 18, at 10am.

Clint was born April 6, 1974, at the Minot AFB Hospital, Minot, ND. Clint traveled with his family throughout the world during his father's Air Force career. Clint attended elementary school in the British School System, Feltwell, England, the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) at RAF Lakenheath, England, and in Norfolk, VA, Prattville, AL, and Montgomery, AL. Clint attended High School at the DODDS High School in Izmir, Turkey, and graduated from high school in the DODDS International School at Brunnson, Holland in 1992.

Clint was active in sports and Cub and Boy Scouting throughout his school days. Clint started playing soccer at age 5, and continued through high school. During his junior and senior years in Holland, Clint was the team captain of the Soccer Team, and was selected both years for the DODDS European Division All-Conference Team. Clint was also the team captain of the football team, and was named to the All-Conference Football team his senior year. Clint participated in Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting, earning the Webelos Arrow of Light Award. Clint earned the Eagle Scout Award in Jun 1988, also earning one Silver Palm for the Award.

Clint graduated from North Dakota State University in May 1998, with a BS degree in Computer Science. In Jun 1998, Clint married Jennifer Curran at Ramstein AB, Germany, where Jennifer's parents, Chief Master Sergeant Patrick and his wife Carolyn Curran were assigned. Chief and Mrs. Curran originally hail from Eyota, MN.

At the time of his death, Clint was employed at the International Headquarters of Allied Building, Inc., East Rutherford, NJ, as the Manager of Information Technology for Special Projects.

Clint is survived by his wife of 5 years, Jennifer, two daughters, Riley, 4, and Greta, 16 months; his parents, Dwight (Lt Col, USAF-Retired) and Claudia of Aberdeen, SD; one brother, Darin and wife Sara, of Lakeville, MN, grandmother Lorraine Keeler of Aberdeen; grandparents Wesley and Genevieve Fast of Iroquois, SD. Clint was preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Keeler, in 1984.

Clint touched the lives of everyone one of his family and friends.
